UNBLEACHED SERVIETTES

We?ve searched a long time to find a recycled serviette. Unfortunately without success. As far as we know, they don?t exist and no supplier could meet our urgent desire for a reusable serviette.

We then decided - just like politicians - for the lesser evil: an unbleached serviette. At least that saves us, and nature, from the chemicals, and what?s wrong with a natural brown serviette?

It comes down to a matter of hygiene: all papers, which can come in direct contact with food, must originate from the so-called virgin pulp, because during deinking (the process of removing ink from recycled paper) microscopic amounts of solvents and other residues can still remain.

Our wrapping paper is also unbleached & the cardboard boxes, which we use to pack several cups of ice cream for take-away, are made of recycled material.

As for our labels: the paper is FSC certified and printed with vegetable oil-based inks according to DIN ISO 12647-2 standards.
